Our web based construction management software is charged on a SaaS (Software as a Service) basis. We operate on a simple and fair pricing structure that suits very small building companies through to large construction organisations.
We charge only for those staff members and subcontractors that actually log in to your Construction Cloud either through the desktop or mobile version of the software or those staff members and subcontractors that receive appointment notifications via email or SMS.
This means that you are not restricted by the number of concurrent projects that you run. Nor are you restricted by the number of staff you need to organise. It will means that you can register as many staff members and subcontractors onto your Construction Cloud as you wish - you will only pay for those that login or receive 10 or more appointment notifications in a month.

We are able to assist you in the moving of data from your old system onto the Construction Clouds platform. For non-complex moves of data for example; moving contacts from your existing ACT! Database, prices start at around £250. Please e-mail email@example.com to outline your requirements and we will be happy to assist and provide you with a quotation if required.
We also offer a version of the software that you can install onto your own servers. This version is aimed at larger organisations and pricing starts at £13,000.00 per year. If you would like more information then please contact us.
We can supply our source code to large companies that wish to develop and customise our software for their own internal purposes. This could work out a cost effective option against developing their own software from scratch. If you are interested in this then send us an email detailing your plans and some information about your organisation and we will respond with a quotation to supply our source.
Email and telephone support is free. In addition to this we offer advanced consultation and software training for when you are getting started, bringing new users onto the system or just want to advance your understanding and level of skill when using the Construction Clouds platform.
We currently offer two levels of service in this area as follows:
We can visit your premises and provide one-on-one or group training of your staff. We charge GBP £45 per hour of training and we will make a travel charge of GBP £0.35p per mile of travel from our base in Bedfordshire to companies based in England. If you are based outside of England please contact us for a quotation. You will be billed at the end of the session and fees will be rounded up to the nearest hour.
We are able to Skype you and provide one-on-one training and consultation of your staff. We charge an initial fee of GBP £75 which includes the first hour and then GBP £25 per hour of training thereafter. You will be billed at the end of the session and fees will be rounded up to the nearest hour. Please note that this type of training is not suitable for group sessions.
We have built, and continue to build, a generic yet feature rich piece of software that meets the demands and workflow associated with many types of building and maintenance companies. We are however always open to the suggestion of new ideas for additional features and we are always keen to hear your feedback either through our forums and discussion with other users or by emailing us at support. All ideas are considered for inclusion into the products and after discussion some may get added to development roadmap and some may not, some may already be on the roadmap and some may even be brought forward to current development.
We are always happy to provide quotations to you for the implementation of features and functionality that your organisation may require so please just email us at support outlining your specification and ideas.
Please note that depending on the nature of the functionality you require we may decide to include your paid for functionality into the main product for others to use and so exclusivity of paid for features is entirely at our discretion.
What is the definition of a login?
A login will be counted under the following circumstances:
a) A staff member that actually logs in to your construction cloud on the desktop or mobile version.
b) A subcontractor that actually logs in to your construction cloud on the desktop or mobile version.
c) A staff member or subcontractor who receives 10 or more email or text message (SMS) reminders in a single month that have been sent autonomously or manually from within your construction cloud.
How much will I be charged per month?
Each month you will be charged your base package price plus any additional user logins for the billing period plus any text message credits used. Additional user logins will be those logins that are beyond the scope of your base package. Here are a few of examples to explain:
You are registered for the Starter package. You have 20 staff members and 30 subcontractors registered on your cloud. You have 1 staff member and 1 subcontractor that log in during the billing month. You will be charged the starter package price (£79.00) + any text message credits used
You are registered for the Starter package. You have 1 staff member and 3 subcontractors that log in during the billing month. You will be charged the starter package price (£79.00) plus an additional user login (£15.00) Making your billing period total £94.00 + any text message credits used
You are registered for the Starter package. You have 3 staff members and 1 subcontractor that log in during the billing month. You also send 10 or more email or SMS appointment reminders to another subcontractor who hasn't logged in during that billing period. You will be charged the starter package price (£79.00) plus an additional user login (£15.00) plus an additional user login for the subcontractor who received 10 or more notifications (£15.00) Making your billing period total £109.00 + any text message credits used
You are registered for the Starter package. You have 5 staff members and 5 subcontractors that log in during the billing month. You also send 10 or more email or SMS appointment reminders to another staff member who didn't log in during that billing period. You will be charged the starter package price (£79.00) plus additional user logins x 7 (£105.00) plus an additional user login for the staff member who received 10 or more notifications (£15.00) Making your billing period total £199.00 + any text message credits used
Using the same scenario as above (Example 4) but you change your base package* to Small Business. Your billing total would be the base package price (£149.00) plus an additional user login for the staff member who received 10 or more notifications (£15.00) Making your billing period total £164.00 + any text message credits used
*Your base package price will not be changed automatically by our systems based on the number of logins you use in any billing period. You must manually set your base package choice. This can only be changed once per month.
How does text messaging get charged?
Text messaging will be available for you to use starting from version 2.0 Build 1006 of ConstructionClouds. Due to be rolled out starting on 7th March 2015. You will be able to send text messages to staff, subcontractors, properties, agents, agent groups and suppliers. Some text messages can be configured to be sent automatically such as those sent to remind tenants of upcoming appointments or to alert subcontractors to their work for the following day.
Text messaging is provided by a 3rd party SMS provider and text messages are charged on a credit based system. Each credit is charged at GBP £0.08p The number of credits charged for any particular text message is decided by the 3rd party provider as there are a few affecting factors when they attempt to deliver a text message.
In general you will be charged 1 credit per 160 characters of the message sent. However, some networks charge a higher price to receive these messages and so you may be charged 1.5 credits per 160 characters. Please see below for the credit costs on the most popular UK networks:

Here are some examples of the how a text message will be charged:
You send a text message to one of your staff members that is not more than 160 characters in length. Their mobile phone is on the EE network. You will be charged 8 pence for the message (1 Credit).
You send a text message to one of your staff members that is not more than 160 characters in length. Their mobile phone is on the O2 network. You will be charged 1.5 credits or 12 pence for the message (1.5 Credits).
You send a text message to one of your staff members that is 250 characters in length. Their mobile phone is on the EE network. You will be charged 16 pence for the message (2 Credits).
The cost of all messages sent are charged at the discretion of our provider and we have no control over their pricing policy. As such pricing may change without notice at any time although we will make all effort to communicate any such changes back to you as promptly as possible.
Sending of text messages from your cloud is completely optional. Automatic messages will not be sent unless you configure your appointments etc to do so. If you are not comfortable with this policy then we would suggest that you do not send any SMS messages from your construction clouds.
Text messages can only be sent to UK mobile numbers. If you need to send to international mobile numbers then please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I have a customised sender ID for text messages that I send?
Yes. When a text message is sent it will appear to come from ConstnCloud. This is the default sender ID. For a more professional look we can submit to our provider up to 11 alphanumeric characters to be used as personalised sender ID. For example it could be your company name "MyCompnyLtd". If you would like us to arrange this then you must tell us what you would like the sender ID to be via email. The email must be sent from an email address that contains your company name as part of the domain. We will make a one off charge for setting up of your sender ID of GBP £25.00. The approval of the sender ID is at the discretion of our provider.
Please note that some networks do not allow the use of sender ID. In this scenario the text will appear to come from a number similar to +257 365000
How will I be charged?
We will invoice you monthly for the number of staff members or subcontractors that log in to your cloud or who receive 10 or more text or email appointment reminders per month. We will also invoice you for any text message credits that are used as part of the same invoice on a monthly basis.
We will invoice all other costs such as for training, custom development, support requests etc on a per item basis either in advance of fulfillment or immediately after.
You will need to pay any such invoice by electronic bank transfer in accordance with the terms stated on the invoice.
How to I change the base package that I signed up for?
You can change your base package from within you account administration area. Log in here You can only change you base package once a month.
What is the difference between the hosted and self-hosted environments?
In short the difference is that the hosted version is installed and run on our servers and the self-hosted version is installed and run on your own server, single pc or network. The hosted version is the best place for small businesses to start whilst the self-hosted version may be better suited to larger organisations with in-house software specialists.
